I love flowers, who doesn’t? Spring is the best time of the year and that’s when my friends get bored of me because I am out with my camera trying to take pictures of flowers and honey bees 🙂 Pictures of flowers are considered very common and people usually think there is nothing special about it. They are often boring and monotonous. But, to me, flower photography gives great pleasure. It is like poetry and often times shows the essence of life itself. Isn’t it true that we are like flowers in the garden, blooming one day and wilted the next day? Well, don’t think that I am pessimistic but that is life, like it or not. Flower photography also reminds me of the beauty of creation itself – the strokes of the Master Painter.
This flower grew in the garden of the guest house I was staying in. The petal spread out like the wings of an angel and the stigma and stamen looked like the golden crown.
