The Lone Cypress

That’s the name of the landmark – The Lone Cypress. This lonely tree has prevailed for over 25o years and stands strong on it’s rocky perch. The tree is one of the most popular landmarks of the scenic 17 Mile drive in California.

    • Thank you for your kind words Lorna. I am honored. I was debating of whether this should be in sepia or in colour. I guess I made the right choice then 😉

  1. This is a good photo and it looks great in sepia, but can i give you a little advice? Try to keep the horizon line as horizontal as possible, position the horizon in the top or bottom third of the image, keep it straight and try to break it up with other shapes ( you don’t have to always do this though). Hope this helps! 🙂
